Frequently Asked Questions

Q - What if I am brand new to yoga?

You do not need any experience to fall in love with yoga. In fact Holy Yoga is less about the yoga and more about connecting with God, so all you need is an open heart to know you are in the right place!

Q - I don't regularly attend a church? Can I still attend Holy Yoga?

Whether you regularly attend a church or have no church at all, Holy Yoga is for you. We offer a safe space for believers and non-believers alike to connect with God in their own, personal way and in their own, personal timing. No rules. No judgement. No expectations. No agenda. Just you, your mat and God.

Q – What do I need for class?

You will need an open heart and a willingness to connect with God with your body, mind and spirit. Wear loose comfortable clothing. Bring a water bottle and a yoga mat if you have one.  No mat?  No problem, we have extras to share.  Yoga is practiced barefoot (no worries, pedicures not required!).

Q – Is yoga a religion?

There is often a misunderstanding that yoga is a religion. It is not. Yoga is a spiritual discipline, much like prayer, fasting and meditation. Yoga has the capacity to enhance our personal beliefs and faith. Holy Yoga will deepen your relationship with God.

Q – What type of training do Holy Yoga Instructors have?

Holy Yoga instructors are certified, registered and fully insured, but more importantly they love Jesus, and love you. To become a Holy Yoga Instructor, participants must complete a 225-hour internationally accredited Holy Yoga training program, ensuring a world class yoga experience centered on Christ.
